本屋のバッグが好きだ。
旅行先、出張先で立ち寄った本屋でオリジナルのバッグがあると、ついつい買ってしまう。時代から取り残されつつあるとも言われる本屋を応援したい気持ちもあるが、なにより、数冊の本をいれてもへっちゃらな、たくましさが好きだ。
写真のバッグはインドはジャイプールにある、CROSSWORDという本屋さんのもの。昨年８月に行った時はフロアが空っぽになっていて、とうとう閉店したものと思い込んでいたのだけれど、それは思い違い、３月に再訪すると改装してリニューアルオープンしていたのでした。そんなCROSSWORD書店のバッグいかがでしょう。

I love bookstore bags.
Whenever I stop by a bookstore while traveling or on a business trip and see an original bag, I can’t help but buy it. Part of me wants to support bookstores, which some say are falling behind the times, but more than anything, I love their sturdiness
The bag in the photo is from a bookstore called CROSSWORD in Jaipur, India. When I visited last August, the floors were completely empty, so I assumed it had finally closed down. But I was mistaken—when I revisited in March, it had been renovated and reopened. So, what do you think of this bag from CROSSWORD Bookstore?
